Cassyette has covered As It Was by Harry styles on BBC radio 1 Maida Vale live sessions a couple of weeks ago, posting to her Instagram “I love this song so much I had to do my own version”. Cassyette started the set with her latest single Sad Girl Summer followed by mayhem and ended with As It Was.
Her cover of the song was a stripped back version of the original that highlighted the lyrics in such a beautiful way and brought out a different rush of emotions when listening to.
Cassyette released her debut song Jean three years ago as a music group with 2 other band mates. After that release and during lockdown Cassyette decided to turn into a solo artist finding her voice away from the American style rock into more of the heavy grunge/metal style.

Releasing her first single as a solo artist, Dear Goth, Cassyette has gained a lot of attention from the alternative rock community. Especially on TikTok with a current following of 1.2 M Cassyette has built most of her audience by going viral during lockdown and doing metal covers of trending songs.

Here at Feats, we have followed Cassyette from the very early days and watched her play several shows from a tiny venue in London called The Courtyard Theatre to supporting my chemical romance at Milton Keynes stadium and many other shows and festivals. Cassyette has her second uk tour coming up in September where she will be touring most major uk cities. and if you haven’t already, we highly recommend you grab your tickets ASAP. We have been championing Cassyette throughout her journey and will continue to be on the front row, we are very much excited to see what more she has to offer to the rock community and the change she will implicate on the current music scene in general. We believe artists like Cassyette are going to help shape the future of the genre.
